It's named for the natural fragrance of this particular variety of tea bush. In the cup it's super sweet upfront with a billowy mouthfeel, not overly floral, and very little to no astringency. The finish is mellow and engaging. Minerality comes in with later steeps, along with something closer to a roasted, sappy sweet potato. Really a lovely tea. Highly recommended and unlike most phoenix oolongs, this one is reasonably priced.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eProduced without chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides.
